Native Californian Richard Frinier joined Brown Jordan under the tutelage of mid-century modern designer emeritus Hall Bradley in 1981. Over the course of 20 plus years, Richard became the brand’s chief creative officer and lead designer.
During his tenure he spearheaded many significant and critically acclaimed innovations that furthered Brown Jordan’s reputation. He pioneered industry-changing materials such as Flex Sling, Suncloth, and Resinweave, and launched cutting-edge, iconic designs including Venetian, Fusion, Still, Stretch, Swim, and Wave, among many others.
