Description
Displaying a unique mix aged teak and oak wood, this rare vintage dining table was designed by Hans Wegner and produced in Denmark, circa 1960s. With retractable leaves on each side for extra space when needed, this table features a rectangular tabletop set on an elegantly curved base and is propped up by splayed legs.
Hans Wegner was a prolific designer whose elegant, often ebullient, forms and devotion to the finest methods in joinery made "Danish Modern" a popular byword for stylish, well-made furniture in the mid-20th century.
